Why I Created KindCore Comforts

I started KindCore Comforts because I felt a genuine need to bring more kindness, compassion, care, and appreciation into our communities. It seems that somewhere along the way, especially over the last 10 years, we've lost sight of some of the simple things that make such a difference in our lives: a kind word, a thoughtful gesture, a little patience, or letting someone know they matter.

But my reason for creating KindCore Comforts goes deeper than that.

As a daughter of a mom living with dementia, I understand the exhaustion, stress, heartache, and grief that come with caregiving. I know how much of yourself you can give to someone you love, often while putting your own needs aside. And I know how important it is for caregivers to feel seen, supported, and appreciated.

I want caregivers to know they matter, too. Their love, sacrifices, and dedication deserve recognition. They shouldn't have to feel invisible while caring for someone else.

I believe that even something as simple as a T-shirt or sweatshirt can make a difference. A positive message can spark a conversation, brighten someone's day, remind someone they aren't alone, or let a caregiver know that someone sees them and appreciates what they do.

Kindness is at the heart of all good, and I believe it has the power to bring people together and make our communities a little brighter.

My vision for KindCore Comforts is bigger than clothing. I want to start a movement — one that encourages people to wear their kindness, wear their support, and wear their appreciation. To give a meaningful gift to someone they love, to treat themselves with the same kindness they give to others, and to share messages that remind us all of what truly matters.

Because kindness isn't just something we say. It's something we show.
